    Meets Ana Mendieta

At AIR Gallery in New York the artists Leon Golub and Nancy Spero introduce Andre to the Cuban-born avant-garde artist Ana Mendieta. A romance soon begins: he travels with her through Italy and Germany, introduces her to New York’s art society and helps organize her exhibitions.
