    Solo exhibitions in London and Berlin

    In 1913 his solo exhibitions are held at the Marlborough Gallery in London (the first of his career) and at Der Sturm in Berlin.

    Meets C. R. W. Nevinson

    At the London show he meets and befriends the British artist C. R. W. Nevinson, ultimately leading to Nevinson’s decision to become a fellow Futurist.

    Married: Jeanne Fort

  4. 25 January 1915

    Daughter born: Gina Severini

  5. by July 1915

    Returns from Barcelona to Paris

    He spends part of the war in Barcelona but is back in Paris by July 1915.

  6. 1916

    Departs from Futurism

    In 1916 he leaves Futurism and paints several works in a naturalistic style inspired by his interest in early Renaissance art, returning to lifelike forms.
