关于作品
John Crome (1768-1821) mainly painted subjects in and around his home town of Norwich in Norfolk. He is best known as an oil painter and rarely worked in watercolour. The small figure carrying a basket adds a human element to the landscape. Samuel Redgrave (1802-1876), a well known writer on British art, once owned this watercolour.
