Edward Burra英格兰, 1905–1976可否一睹真容?
倫敦, 英国
仍属馆藏,只是目前没有展出。
Burra was fascinated by the sleazy, the sinister and the mischievous. This watercolour, Surrealist in style, typifies his preoccupation with night life and the boundaries of respectability. The scene is divided between night and day, shadow and light. The title suggests the subject of prostitution and focuses on the depiction of powerful femininity.
