Drawing by Richard Beer depicting the entrance to the Covent Garden Flower Market, 1975. This was the building in Russell Street that became the Theatre Museum (a branch of the V&A) that opened in 1987 and operated until 2007 when the collections moved to the V&A and Blythe House.
The pen and drawing by Richard Beer (a designer of sets and costumes in his own right) is reproduced as the frontispiece of Stage by Stage The making of the Theatre Museum by Jean Scott Rogers.
