O rzeźbie

Manjuvajra Mandala, an eleventh-century black-stone sculpture from Bengal, now Bangladesh or India, is at the Met in New York. Three heads and six arms identify an esoteric form of Manjushri; the sword cuts through ignorance. Five stupas crown the architectural setting, each housing an emanation. Donors and worshippers gather along the lower frieze beneath the elaborate throne.
