O rzeźbie
Augustin Pajou's River God, a terracotta statuette of 1762, is in the Louvre, Paris. It reduces a colossal stone figure made for Jean Pâris de Montmartel's park at Brunoy. The seated nude leans on a rock beside a vessel pouring water. On the back, Pajou signed the clay and dated it precisely to 28 July 1762.
