Wallace Morgan, an American painter and comics artist, was born in New York City and died there. Ten of his drawings are in museums, held by the Yale University Art Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington. Most of the portraits date from 1912 and show women of public life: Leonora O'Reilly, Martha Carey Thomas, Belva Ann Lockwood and Anna Howard Shaw. Another sheet was made as an illustration of an election convention for Century magazine. One drawing hangs in a gallery today.
