Over het werk
Portrait of the artist's friend Vanessa Inggs. She wears a collared shirt beneath a sweater, and a jacket with vertical stripes and a button or brooch on the lapel. Through digital manipulation, the artist converted the color photograph into a black and white image that emphasizes the melanin pigment in the sitter’s skin and highlights blemishes and sun damage.
