この絵画について
『アンドレス・デル・ペラルの肖像』（アンドレス・デル・ぺラルのしょうぞう、西: El retrato de Andrés del Peral, 英: The Portrait of Andrés del Peral）は、18-19世紀のスペインの巨匠フランシスコ・デ・ゴヤが1798年以前にポプラ板上に油彩で描いた絵画である。1904年にジョージ・ドナルドソン (George Donaldson) から寄贈されて以来、ロンドン・ナショナル・ギャラリーに所蔵されている。

Grave illness and loss of hearing
An undiagnosed illness left Goya deaf; he found refuge in Cádiz with the collector Sebastián Martínez. After the illness his art grew darker and more pessimistic.

Publication of "Los Caprichos"
The series of 80 etchings "Los Caprichos" was published and sold in a perfume shop on the Calle del Desengaño; owing to the intervention of the Inquisition, only 27 sets were sold.
