Trial: 11 months on probation and a €150,000 fine
Immendorff cooperated with the prosecution, admitted to having taken cocaine since the early 1990s and named his dealer; at the trial he admitted to having organized 27 similar orgies between February 2001 and August 2003. He was sentenced to 11 months on probation and fined €150,000 (the mild sentence was justified by his illness and extensive confession); suspended from his university position, he was reinstated after the verdict.
