Soldaten hebben een doornenkroon geplaatst op het hoofd van Christus en drukken deze met stokken op zijn hoofd. Een knielende man maakt gebaren met zijn handen en steekt zijn tong uit naar Christus. Op de voorgrond ligt een slapende hond. Boekillustratie in rechthoekige omlijsting met fijne ornamenten. Houtsnede met meerdere houtblokken.
