À propos de la sculpture

Wax portraiture reached its natural conclusion with busts fully in the round, which proved moderately popular in the early part of the nineteenth century. The only known examples are monochrome in the characteristic pink, yellow and white tones. The underside of this bust reveals it was cast hollow and surface finished.
