Directs the film “Office Killer”
Sherman directed a feature film starring Jeanne Tripplehorn, Molly Ringwald and Carol Kane, whose character, arranging bodies like a puppeteer, is a stand-in for the artist. It grossed $37,446 and drew poor reviews; the film critic Stephen Holden called it 'sadly inept'.
1999
Divorce from Michel Auder
Sherman and the director Michel Auder divorced; through the marriage she had become stepmother to his daughter Alexandra and to Alexandra's half-sister Gaby Hoffmann. A five-year relationship with Paul Hasegawa-Overacker followed.
