Covers and a video for Babes in Toyland
Sherman worked with the Minneapolis band Babes in Toyland, providing photographs for the covers of the albums Fontanelle and Painkillers and a stage backdrop for their concerts, and acting in the video for “Bruise Violet”.
1991–2005
A loft on Mercer Street in SoHo
Sherman lived in a fifth-floor co-op loft at 84 Mercer Street; she later sold it to the actor Hank Azaria and bought two floors of a building overlooking the Hudson in West SoHo — one her apartment, the other her studio and office.

A postcard series for Comme des Garçons
After an editorial for Harper's Bazaar (1993), Sherman made the Post Card Series for Comme des Garçons' autumn/winter 1994–95 collections together with Rei Kawakubo.

MoMA buys all the “Untitled Film Stills”
The Museum of Modern Art in New York acquired all 69 black-and-white photographs of the series (for an estimated $1 million).
