About the work
View of four young women walking in a protest march in Chicago. They walk in a line down the middle of the street staring directly at the camera, and three of the women are holding cardboard signs spray-painted with the words "UNITE OR PERISH" and "AMERICA IS THE BLACKMAN'S BATTLEGROUND NOT VIETNAM". A large crowd walks behind them holding signs and banners with similar words and slogans. Many people carry umbrellas.
