It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
The Christ Child holds an orb in his left hand, while his right hand is extended in blessing. The delicate features and small scale suggest that this piece is Spanish, from Seville and it was probably a devotional work.
The faces of the Virgin and Child recall the small delicately featured figures by the Seville sculptor Luisa Roldán (1652-1706), and although the similarities do not warrant an attribution of the present group to the circle of Roldán, it is likely to come from Seville, and to date from towards the end of the seventeenth century.
