About the painting

Piesă de formă dreptunghiulară alcătuită din icoana propriu-zisă (blat simplu, din două scânduri) cu două lăcașuri pentru pene (pe spate) Icoana îi prezintă pe Sf. Grigore Decapolitul, Ioan Gură de Aur și Vasile cel Mare, în picioare, îmbrăcați în veșminte de mari arhierei – haine, mantii, omofoare și bedernițe - bogat ormanentate cu semicercuri, cruci, puncte. Ei binecuvântează cu dreapta, iar în stânga, țin Cartea Sfântă. Pământul este redat prin nuanțe de verde și maron. Scena este încadrată de un chenar simplu, nedecorat. Cromatica: gri, maron, verde, roșu, lila, galben, alb, auriu.
