En primer plano una serie de figuras de espaldas, en lo que parece la acera de una calle. Todos llevan una especie de capa con esclavina y están frente a unos puestos montados sobre mesas sustentadas por caballetes. Tras las mesas, se distingue a dos vendedoras con pañuelo a la cabeza.
