    In the mid-1890s Toulouse-Lautrec produced several illustrations for the magazine Le Rire.

    The Famous Party at the Natansons'

    Lautrec, a noted gourmet and cook, threw a party for three hundred guests at the Natansons' Paris home, at which, by all accounts, 2,000 cocktails were served; he acted single-handedly as chef and barman.
