  1. c. 1935 – 1936

    Meeting his future wife, Elizabeth Parsons

    During his year in England Kline meets Elizabeth V. Parsons, a British ballet dancer who will become his wife.

  2. c. 1935 – 1936

    The Heatherley School of Fine Art in London

    After studying art at Boston University from 1931 to 1935, Kline spends a year in England attending the Heatherley School of Fine Art in London.

  3. 1938

    Returning to the United States with Elizabeth Parsons

    In 1938 Kline returns to the United States, accompanied by Elizabeth Parsons, the British ballet dancer he met in England. On his return he works as a designer for a department store.
