About the sculpture

Een lopende naakte vrouw in brons. Ze houdt met haar rechterhand een dolk voor haar borst. Haar linkerhand is zijwaarts gericht; het hoofd is afgewend (naar rechts) van de looprichting, alsof ze niet getuige wil zijn van haar aanstaande suïcidale daad. De vrouw draagt een klein kroontje in het haar. Het brons is gemonteerd op een rood/grijswit-geaderde, marmeren sokkel (19de-eeuws).
