  2. 1912

    Meets Khlebnikov and Kruchenykh

She meets the Futurist poets Velimir Khlebnikov and Aleksei Kruchenykh. With Kruchenykh she has a close, intimate relationship: they part several times and do not live together for long.

  3. April – May 1914

A Futurist exhibition in Rome at Marinetti's invitation

At Marinetti's invitation she is one of four Russian artists — along with A. P. Archipenko, N. I. Kulbin and A. A. Exter — to take part in the First International Futurist Exhibition in Rome (Sprovieri Gallery, Russian section).

  4. December 1915

    The “Last Futurist Exhibition 0,10”

She takes part in the “Last Futurist Exhibition 0,10” in Petrograd.

  5. 1916

    Secretary of Malevich's Supremus society

She becomes secretary of the Supremus society headed by Kazimir Malevich. By this time her style has developed from Cubism and Italian Futurism towards pure abstraction, in which composition is built on visual weight and the interrelation of colours.
