About the work
A group of people wearing Hawaiian shirts and leis sit around a table together drinking beer. The table is covered with beer bottles, glasses, and packs of cigarettes. A camera sits at the end of the table. Everyone at the table turns to look at the central figure, who holds a cigarette up to his open mouth and looks directly at the camera.
