In the museum's own words — in Dutch

Allegorisch vijfkoppige en vierpotige monster. Dit gedrocht heeft de koppen van Gierigheid (Avaritia), de gemaskerde Bedrog (Fraus), Oproer (Seditio) en Waan (Opinio). De varkenskop is met een Griekse term aangeduid (Domheid / Stupiditas?). In zijn handen draagt hij attributen van Afgunst (Invidia) en Oorlog (Bellum). Onder zijn voeten vertrapt hij de Onschuld (Innocentia) en Vrede (Pax) en Rechtvaardigheid (Justitia). Met opschriften en onder de plaat een tweeregelig Latijns onderschrift.
