About the sculpture
This bust in white marble depicts a young girl, with flowers in her hair and across her shoulder, wearing a necklace. The initial H. is incised at the back. It is on a circular white marble pedestal decorated in the Renaissance style and is thought to be French and to date from the early 19th century.
