“Take Your Time” — his first major US survey
SFMOMA, with curator Madeleine Grynsztejn, presents Eliasson's first major survey in the United States, spanning his work from 1993 to 2007; the museum's skylight bridge is turned into the installation “One-way colour tunnel”. The exhibition then tours to the Museum of Modern Art and P.S.1 in New York (2008), Dallas (2008–2009), Chicago (2009) and Sydney (2009–2010).

The exhibition “Contact” at Fondation Louis Vuitton
At Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris the works appear as a sequence of events along a journey: moving through passageways and expansive installations, visitors become part of a choreography of darkness, light, geometry and reflections.
