O soše
François Rude's marble Jacques Louis David of 1831 belongs to the Louvre in Paris. It was the personal copy owned by François and Sophie Rude, following a plaster model made in Brussels in 1826. The bust appeared at the Salon of 1831. A white marble pedestal and base bring its total height from 39 to 57.5 centimetres. Displayed in room 226.
