Peter Vischer the Elder (1455–1529) was a sculptor and craftsman, born and died in Nuremberg. Seven of his works are in the sculpture collection in Dresden and the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. Four of them are casts of his self-portrait from the tomb of Saint Sebald in Nuremberg, dated 1508. Two figures of 1513 represent King Arthur and King Theodoric. One of them is on view.
