Manuel Carrillo (1906–1989) was a Mexican photographer, born and died in Mexico City. About 125 of his photographs are in American museums: the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. Many are untitled prints from the 1950s and 1960s; titled ones include El Abañil, a bricklayer photographed in Mexico in the 1960s or 1970s, and Pulquería, Toluca, from a 1970 negative printed in 1981. Four of his photographs are on display today.
