“Quincy Book”: photographs of his home town
His artist’s book “Quincy Book”, with commissioned photographs of landscapes and monuments in his native Quincy, appears alongside his solo show at the Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover. It was reprinted in 2014.

The “bricks controversy” over “Equivalent VIII”
After an article in The Sunday Times, the work that the Tate had shown several times without incident becomes the centre of a scandal and is later defaced with blue food dye; the “bricks controversy” becomes one of the most famous British debates about contemporary art.
