Om målningen

Vase of Poppies is a still life Claude Monet painted in 1883, now at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Monet returned periodically to flower painting; his still lifes sold for more than his landscapes in 1880. This oil canvas, 98 by 60 cm, has been on loan from the Willem van der Vorm Foundation since 1972. It is in storage.
