Drawing in the manner of impressionist sketch depicting a scene of 'Othello' at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in 1959. Drawn by Veronica Haigh.
This production was directed by Tyrone Guthrie and had Dame Edith Evans playing the Contess. It was part of the celebration of the hundredth season that took place in the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
