Return to Paris
After the war, in 1921, Robert and Sonia Delaunay returned to Paris; Robert continued to work in both figurative and abstract themes, with a brief stint into Surrealism.

Delaunay met André Breton and Tristan Tzara, who introduced him to both the Dadaists and the Surrealists.
