De bruid van Christus (de kerk) in een bed met een baldakijn. Het baldakijn wordt gedragen door de kardinale deugden. Op het voeteneind een voorstelling van het oordeel van Salomon. Boven het hoofd van de bruid Christus in een wolk. Rond het bed figuren uit het Oude Testament. Op de achtergrond door een deuropening is de bruid van Christus te zien die in de stad op zoek is naar haar lief. De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift over het hooglied van Salomo.
