O obrazie

White Light is the only painting Jackson Pollock completed in 1954, now in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Raised black and white strands came from paint squeezed directly out of tubes. Pollock then worked parts of the wet surface with a brush to create marbled patterns. The canvas combines oil, enamel and aluminum paint and measures 122.4 centimetres high.
