O rzeźbie
The Sarcophagus of the Spouses, made by unnamed Etruscan craftsmen at Caere around 520–510 BCE, is in the Louvre, Paris. The reclining couple was modeled and molded in red clay, then painted; traces distinguish the man's red skin from the woman's white complexion. Made in two sections, the object may have served as a sarcophagus or urn lid. Several fingers and the objects once held by the woman are missing. It is displayed in room 663.
