O dziele

Allegorical vignette representing war from a series of twelve (including title page). The title is lettered in the center on a piece of fabric tied to a spear, framed by a palm tree, clouds, and a putto holding a sword and wearing a helmet. Below, the hull of a ship is decorated with a mask, festoons of laurel leaves, and a quiver of arrows. Within the hull, there are arms and armor, an oval portrait of the Vicomte de Turene, and olive branches. Lettering below the vignette and the plate is signed.
