O rzeźbie
Robert Indiana conceived AMOR in 1998; this sculpture, fabricated in 2006, belongs to the National Gallery of Art in Washington. Red and yellow aluminium letters form two stacked rows, with the O tilted. The Spanish or Latin word for love reworks Indiana's earlier LOVE design. This version first appeared in a Madrid plaza in 2006. On view in the northeast part of the Sculpture Garden.

After the attacks of September 11, 2001, he creates the series Peace Paintings; in 2004 it is shown at the Paul Kasmin Gallery in New York.
