About the sculpture
This group was probably placed in a small house-altar.All three figures reflect the larger sculptures from the workshop of Michel Erhart in Ulm. Erhart appeared first in the tax-rolls in 1469, and became the leading sculptor in Ulm until his dead in 1522.
