Over het werk

Voorstelling van een schip op ruige zee, dat langs een rotspartij vaart. Dit blad is onderdeel van de embleemserie 'Leven van Maria in emblemen'. De eerste staat van deze serie behelst naast een titelpagina en 26 emblemen ook drie bladen met lofzangen op Maria in boekdruk zonder afbeelding.
