Over het werk

Prins Genji en lijfwacht zittend met zwaard, kijkend naar drie jongemannen met waaiers onder bloesemende boom; op de voorgrond een rivier waarin twee waaiers; op de achtergrond gestreepte doeken. Voorstelling omsloten door bruine rand waarin Genji emblemen.
