In this studio photograph depicting a pair of analog clocks, Nakahashi reflected on the concept of time zones. Time zones are calculated in accordance with a system of standardized geographical divisions based on the earth’s rotation. Here, Nakahashi considered the difference in time between two clocks set just one foot apart. He then calculated the time difference as approximately 0.000657 seconds.
