작품 소개

Alligators in a Pool is an undated watercolour by Mark Rothko in Washington’s National Gallery of Art. Two greyish reptiles with dark spots lie close together, surrounded by areas of green and warmer red and yellow. Rothko laid watercolour over a graphite drawing on wove paper. The sheet was donated by his foundation and is currently off display.
