A brilliantly illuminated leg poses coquettishly above a store-front at night, the lithe and sinuous proportions of its knee and foot flexing in parallel. To the left of the frame, a much smaller sign provides context for this enormous, disembodied limb: this is a stocking shop, where buyers might find similarly enticing products for their own shapely calves—or those of their loved ones.
