この絵画について
『聖ヒエロニムスと天使』（せいヒエロニムスとてんし、露: Св. Иероним и ангел、英: St Jerome and the Angel）は、17世紀スペイン・バロック期の画家ホセ・デ・リベーラがキャンバス上に油彩で描いた絵画である。画面右下に画家の署名と制作年が記されている。1831年にスペインのマヌエル・デ・ゴドイのコレクションから購入されて以来、サンクトペテルブルクのエルミタージュ美術館に所蔵されている。

Recognised as Naples's leading painter
Ribera's career picks up in the late 1620s, and he is accepted as the leading painter in Naples thereafter; he runs a workshop with many pupils, among them Francesco Fracanzano, Luca Giordano, Bartolomeo Passante and Hendrick de Somer.
