David Leapman (b.1959) studied at St Martin's School of Art and at Goldsmith's College, London. His paintings and drawings are often made in unconventional ways and with unorthodox materials. He frequently uses fluorescent and phosphorescent pigment to produce work which responds only in certain specific light conditions. The surface of this drawing is made from 'crystalina', small transparent plastic fragments that catch the light and glitter.
