Pen and ink full length sketch of a female figure, possibly a costume design, created by Cecil Beaton, ca. 1960-70. The sketch has been drawn on the rear of a typed manuscript showing diary entries which have been annotated in blue biro. These entries would later be revised to become part of Cecil Beaton's, 'Fair Lady', published in 1964.
Sir Cecil Walter Hardy Beaton, CBE (14 January 1904 – 18 January 1980) was an English fashion, portrait and war photographer, diarist, painter, interior designer and an Academy Award-winning stage and costume designer for films and the theatre.
