Sull’opera

Con le parole del museo — in olandese

Op de voorgrond allegorische figuren in een kring om een dame die een draak vertrapt. Daarachter Maria op een triomfwagen getrokken door een leeuw, een lam, een adelaar en een feniks. Om haar heen een menigte vrouwelijke muzikanten. Links en rechts achter deze musici groepen verdoemden die door duivels gevangen gehouden worden. Op de achtergrond een rotsachtig kustlandschap. Aan de hemel engeltjes en diverse symbolen. Her en der bij de figuren banderollen en schilden met Latijnse teksten. Boven de voorstelling een opschrift in het Latijn. Onder de voorstelling het wapenschild van de hertogen van Lotharingen en een onderschrift in het Latijn. Prent verschenen ter gelegenheid van de promotie van de Franciscaner monniken André de l'Auge (Ange?) en Etienne Didelot in mei 1625.
