Con le parole del museo — in olandese

Een soldaat met een geweer (musket) en een brandende lont in de linkerhand en een furketstok in de rechterhand, ten voeten uit. Op de achtergrond een heuvelachtig landschap waarin soldaten elkaar beschieten. Onder de voorstelling twee regels tekst in Latijn. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van 12 genummerde prenten van militairen, ten voeten uit weergegeven tegen een landschappelijke achtergrond waarin krijgshandelingen verricht worden, en met een tweeregelig Latijns onderschrift.
